Since when did check-calling become so prevalent in poker again? No one wants to see if their hand is any good?
Having a rough time of it. Not playing horribly, but also not playing optimally. I'm lacking patience, and it's dangerous. Any suggestions how to deal with that?

Sorry but I love the check call. I don't want to put a penny into the pot that I don't have to, especially for a weak hand like middle pair or top pair bad kicker. I'll consider calling a modest bet but I'm hella not betting myself.
Nah, I do it too sometimes, just venting. It's not that bad of a strategy. It's probably also a great way to exploit me when I am playing too fast....
